Q: Who are these courses suitable for?

A: Our CPR courses are designed for anyone interested in learning basic life-saving techniques, while the Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) courses are tailored for healthcare professionals, including doctors, PA/ NP’s, nurses, paramedics, and other emergency responders.

Q: Is there a difference between online training and classroom-based instruction?

A: The key distinction between online certification training and in-person classroom training is time and flexibility. Universal CPR Pro Association recognizes the demanding schedules and responsibilities that medical professionals handle on a daily basis. Our online courses offer the same level of high-quality education as traditional classroom courses, but with the added convenience of being able to learn on your own schedule, and from the comfort of your own home. Our curriculum is designed to adhere to the ILCOR’s latest standards and guidelines, and covers the same material as in-person courses. Our online courses eliminate the need for commuting, allowing you to plan your study time around other obligations, and can easily accommodate last-minute certification needs.

Q: What does the online course include?

A: Each course includes video lectures, interactive simulations, and a final assessment. You’ll also have access to practice quizzes to help reinforce key concepts.

Q: Are there any hands-on components in these online courses?

A: While our courses are fully online, we do provide video demonstrations, interactive scenarios, and assessments to simulate hands-on skills.

Q: For how long is the certification active?

A: Depending on the course, your certification expires in one or two calendar years from the date you successfully completed the course. BBP are active for one year, and CPR, BLS, ACLS and PALS are active for two.

Q: How quickly do I get my exam results?

A: You will have the results of your exam immediately following submission of your exam. If you achieved a passing score, you will also receive a digital copy of your certification immediately.

Q: After passing the exam, where is my Digital Certification Card?

A: Your Digital Certification Card will be available immediately after successfully passing an exam. In your account, in the Completed Courses tab will be a Certification Card and CME Certificate Links. You have the option to either print or download your card and certificate.

Q: Can I recertify with this course?

A: Yes. Our course offers the most up-to-date study materials and exams, always in accordance with the latest ILCOR standards and guidelines. Our course and exams were designed by Board Certified Physicians, and are updated regularly to maintain said compliance.

Q: My previous certification expired. Which course do I need?

A: Regardless of when your last certification expired, you can sign up for an initial certification course.

Q: Am I required to be currently certified to take this online course?

A: No. You are able to obtain your ACLS, PALS, BLS, CPR, and/or Bloodborne Pathogens certification or recertification whether you are a first time applicant, or have allowed your certification to expire.

Q: What is the minimum score I need to pass the exam?

A: In order to pass any course exam, you will need to achieve a score of at least 80%.

Q: Will I receive a certification upon course completion?

A: Yes, once you successfully complete the course and/or pass the final exam, you’ll receive a digital certificate of completion, which you can print or share with your employer.

Q: Is the certification recognized and accredited?

A: Our courses are designed to meet and exceed the latest AHA guidelines and are accepted by most healthcare institutions. However, it’s always a good idea to check with your employer or licensing board to ensure acceptance.
